The Fifth International Workshop on Heat Flow and the Structure of the Lithosphere was hosted by the Geophysical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and held under the auspices of the International Heat Flow Commission of the International Association of Seismology and Physics of the Earth's Interior and the Czech Academy of Sciences. The workshop was held June 10-16, 2001 at the Kostelec Castle, Czech Republic.
